A Kingsville native, Celina attended and graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology. After living in McAllen, Texas, Celina returned home and began her career with CKWRI as one of the Purchasing Specialists in the Spring of 2022. She is responsible for handling project-related Institute purchases, processing purchase orders and invoices, interpreting state and federal guidelines and University procedures, and coordinating with vendors and the University community for accurate and timely payment of invoices. When not in the office, Celina, along with her husband, Chris, enjoy fishing, traveling and BBQing with close family & friends.
