Population Demographics of Nilgai in South Texas

Megan Granger is currently pursuing a M.S. in Range and Wildlife Science at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University- Kingsville. The main objective of this study is to determine the population structure, density, sex ratio, and reproductive capability of nilgai in South Texas.

Megan grew up in the town of Spring Branch, Texas and earned her B.S. in Range and Wildlife Management with a minor in Biology at Texas A&M University- Kingsville in December 2019. Her long-term career goal is to become a Wildlife Biologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
