Northern Bobwhite Population Densities in Relation to Experimental Grazing Regimes in South Texas
Serving Since

Andrea is from Winthrop, Massachusetts.  She grew up loving the outdoors and wanted to find a way help preserve it.  She graduated from University of Vermont with a bachelors on science.  Andrea had heard about Texas A&M University-Kingsville and what a wonderful wildlife department they had and decided to come here in 2011 to get her master degree.  She loved the program so much she decided to stay for her PhD, which she started in 2014.  Andrea is studying Northern Bobwhite Population Densities in Relation to Experimental Grazing Regimes in South Texas.

Why Andrea Chose CKWRI:   I chose to pursue both of my graduate degrees at CKWRI because the opportunities for practical hands -on experience in the range and wildlife field are valuable and unique to this program. The size of our program allows you more one on one time with professors who are experts in their respective fields.  Additionally, I enjoy working closely with landowners and ranchers and being able to conduct research on parts of the Texas landscape that are otherwise off limits.
