Giving

The Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, a nonprofit organization, depends on charitable donations to support its work. The Institute welcomes new, renewing, and continuing support of individual, corporate, and foundation partners. By making a tax deductible contribution to the Institute, you will help us continue to provide science-based information for enhancing the conservation and management of Texas wildlife.

Endowment Gifts
Generates donor specified income for CKWRI in perpetuity

Investing in a CKWRI endowment gives us permanent support to ensure the future of Texas wildlife and make an impact like no other. These gifts allow us to recruit and support top graduate students through the prestige of named fellowships, provide vital resources to our world-class scientists, develop postdoctoral positions in order to support, expand, and strengthen research, add value to existing projects by bringing on additional support to expand research into areas not currently covered, and leverage research funds from other organizations such as state and federal agencies, NGOs, and private foundations that require a matching gift in order to fund a project.

All endowed funds are held in trust by the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation, a 501 (c)3 charitable organization (EIN 23-7166534).

CKWRI Ocelot Conservation Facility

Ocelots deserve a future in Texas, and we are dedicated to raising funds for the CKWRI Ocelot Conservation Facility.  When construction is completed in early summer 2026, the CKWRI Ocelot Conservation Facility will provide solutions to several needs for ocelot conservation and recovery throughout South Texas. The facility will provide the knowledge and capacity for researchers to produce ocelots for reintroduction and to understand the intricacies of ocelot behavior and health.
