Ashley was born and raised in Belleville, New York. She received her B.S. in Biology from Paul Smith's College in 2017 and is now working on her Master's at CKWRI. Ashley's research focus is studying population reduction of white-tailed deer for the management of cattle fever ticks in South Texas.
