Caroline C. McAllister

Director of Donor Relations
Serving Since

Caroline brings a lifetime of love for the outdoors and more than twenty years of fundraising experience (in the nonprofit world) to the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute.  Her primary responsibility is to serve as a liaison between donors and the Institute; other responsibilities include promoting CKWRI programs and news, and managing special events and media campaigns.  Caroline grew up in San Antonio and spent most weekends at her family’s ranches in the hill country and south Texas.  She received a B.A. from Texas Tech University in Communications, served as Director of Membership at Texas Wildlife Association, and led major fundraising initiatives as Director of Development for the Texas Wildlife Association Foundation for ten years.  She is an avid outdoorsman, with a particular passion for bird hunting and fly fishing.  She and her husband spend most weekends outdoors, hunting or fishing, with their son and daughter.
