Dan was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where his love for conservation and wildlife grew.  He graduated from Colorado State University with a fish, wildlife, and conservation biology bachelors degree.  He is currently working toward his master degree studying genetic analysis of bobcats and ocelots in a fragmented landscape using non-invasive scat sampling.

Why Dan Chose CKWRI:  For the hands-on educational experiences, and for the opportunity to develop a research project with wild felids.
