
Joshua Grace, M.S.

Joshua Grace grew up in Paradise, Texas and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. with the Institute focusing on the ecological effects of invasive grasses on native vegetation. His interest in wildlife and range studies developed at Texas A&M University - College Station where he earned a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and a Minor in Rangeland Ecology and Management in 2008. Josh's increasing interest in ecology and habitat management took him to Louisiana State University in 2009. He received a M.S. in Wildlife Ecology in 2011 after conducting research focusing on the effects of timber harvest techniques on vegetation succession, quality deer forage, and small mammal population dynamics. Josh served briefly as a Wildlife Biologist for Pheasants Forever, Inc. and Quail Forever in Amarillo before beginning Ph.D. research focusing on Tanglehead at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. This research is ongoing and he continues to expand on projects dealing with the many problems associated with invasive grasses in South Texas.
