Ross is from Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelors degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Ross received his masters degree from University of Texas El Paso in Biology and started with CKWRI in 2014. Ross is studying Northern Bobwhite response to habitat irrigation.
