Zac joined the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute as Business Coordinator II in May 2022. He is a Kingsville native and an alumnus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where he graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Management with Applied Engineering Technology, as well as minoring in Business Administration. Zac serves as our Grant Accountant, and is responsible for establishing and maintaining a computerized accounting system of all CKWRI grant accounts, received donations, and fundraising efforts. He also provides up-to-date balances and financial reports to any and all appropriate staff members of CKWRI, as well as, reconciles financial activity statements monthly and ensure that all corrections are completed.
When not in the office, Zac enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Laura, and their 4 dogs and 2 cats. He also makes the time to perform with his mariachi group, Mariachi Nueva Vida, all over the South Texas area.
