Slender grama is an early successional native grass found throughout South Texas. Slender grama has shown excellent competitive ability with many non-native grass species in experimental plantings. Best uses for revegetation projects include erosion control and highway right-of-way plantings. Dilley is a South Texas release of this species available for planting.
