
Account Setup
When a submitted proposal has been awarded and an account number is assigned by the university grants office, we begin the process of setting up your account.
The first step is setting up a meeting between the Principle Investigator (PI), Grants (Stephanie Steen) CKWRI travel, compliance, and Business Coordinator II
This meeting is mandatory and your accounts will not be set up until this step has been completed
An email will be sent out to set up a time and date for the meeting that best suits all parties
During the meeting we will discuss the terms and guidelines of the project as well as answer any questions that the PI may have in regards to the procedures that CKWRI mandates.
We go over the budget and how it will be uploaded. (If your budget is broken down yearly or by fiscal year that’s is how the budget will be reflected)
We will discuss the policies and guidelines of when a budget revision between line items is being processed or if allowable

Reports due dates
Copies of contracts and budget are provided for your records.
