Randy grew up in Aledo, Texas. Graduated high school in 1993. Graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science, Animal Science, in 1998 and a Master of Science in Agriculture in 2003. Worked for the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in Forage Research from 1999 to 2012. My last job was Program Manager for the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture working in the Limpopo Providence in South Africa. As Program manager, I managed projects for Texas AgriLife Researchers and local South African collaborators working towards goals of food security and conservation agriculture.
Randy and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters and a son (Meda, Mabry and Evan). We enjoy the outdoors, hiking /canoeing, photography, and organized sports (Evan’s baseball). We currently live in Stephenville, Texas.
