Juan was born and raised on a small ranch in Edcouch, Texas. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Range & Wildlife Management at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2021. Juan is currently assessing the vegetation in clay lomas along the South Texas Coast and evaluating their usage by Texas tortoises for his Master's thesis. Juan plans to apply to the Texas Game Warden program after completing his Master's Degree.
